My Story

In 2010 I lost my grandma to cancer (Sheila Minto Penning), she was cared for perfectly by St Elizabeth’s Hospice in Ipswich, for which my brother now works as a retail shop manager.

Since then, I’ve had a soft spot for the charity and what they do, and have been lucky enough to be involved with them in my work too.

I had an exceptional bond with her, she was my biggest fan in many ways and championed me when others wouldn’t, fighting through adversity has been something I’ve always had to do in my life, overcoming challenges, so sadly she’s still no longer with us, I still use that fight in every single thing I do! She would be so proud now, considering how far I have come.

I’ve always wanted to do something for charity,

From the 29th of March - the 3rd of April, I will be going to 6 football matches in 6 days)  in the hope of raising further funds that can be donated towards the charity to help people suffering from Cancer (Young or older) and support their families, because they do superb work!

I will be documenting my journey across social media)

If you would like to donate, please click the Enthuse link below, It would be greatly appreciated, I've set the goal at £1000, I don't expect to hit - as long as I've raised something that's what matters and I hope she'll be proud! :)
